我只想陪在你身边
Okay, maybe stepping into 2010 has made a difference, maybe it has FINALLY made me 1 year wiser.. Ever since I stopped mentally growing at about.. 14?
=X
*ahem*
*avoids knowing looks from friends*
Anyways, I finally realized that, being envious of other people's r/s is totally not gonna help it.
Everyone's r/s is different, and although other guys may seem alot nicer to their gfs, it's really kind of not the point.
I could easily swap and have someone a thousand times nicer to me..
But, I wouldn't want to.
I already have my love :)

My first photo declaration of love, for you.

HighandFly!
Hey all, High & Fly has updated with it's 6th collection! :)

I like this top very much and you should too.

Union Jack is so 2009! Now is the time of the American Flag!
What are you waiting for?
Go shop!
:)
8:15 PM
One Time
Words that I'd wish he'd tell me.
And I'mma be your one guy
You'd be my number 1 girl
Always making time for you
Some things that I wish could be true, but aren't.
In the beginning, I thought I finally found someone who'd entertain me, who'd be my pillar of support. Someone who'd keep awake to watch me sleep, who'd talk me to sleep, who'd be sure to keep me company when I'm bored.
Just someone I could rely on.
Turns out, it was all a lie.
I ended up with someone who'd want me as entertainment when there's nothing else on, who'd support me when his friends didn't need his company. Who'd sleep before I do. Who'd talk to me till he sleeps, who'd take me as company when he's bored.
I feel hurt and cheated.
Or maybe it's my fault cos I pinned too many hopes on one person.
How is it that I felt less lonely than this when I was single?
5:45 PM
JUSTIN BIEBER
OMFG. JUSTIN BIEBER IS FUCK CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
*MAJOR SWOONS*
HE'S CUTER THAN TAYLOR LAUTNER!
*ducks rotten vegetables thrown by TL fans*
*AHEM*
Although I actually liked Lautner like.. way before Justin Bieber got out of diapers..
I was in love when Lautner first played Shark Boy in Shark Boy and Lava Girl 3D.

*sighs dreamily*
Cute, cute.
But sorry,

THIS IS CUTER! :D

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
*SCREAMS CRAZILY*
When I hear One Time by him.. My heart starts to race cos I think of his face..
It just screams TOO CUTE!!
Okay, enough already.
I'mma go to church now.
Later! :)

Osaka Temple
Yupp, I'm finally blogging about Japan again!
On the first day, we arrived at Osaka some time in the morning, and we all went to stay at an Uncle's place.
We spent the day settling in, and resting from our long journey.
Me and the cousins, we walked around the area where we were staying at, to enjoy the cold and to take in the scenery that was so vastly different from what we see in SG.
It drizzled in the morning, so the surrounding landscape was pretty damp.
I took the chance to test out my new Olympus's macro settings..

The same shot, edited slightly differently :)
And this one is my favourite macro shot :)

I like it so much that it's my desktop wallpaper now :)

On our 2nd day in Osaka, we went to visit this Temple..
I absolutely have no inkling what the Temple is called.
Pictures while setting off to travel there..

My cute but mischievous cousin, Joseph :)

My aunt, who borrowed my fringe boots to wear :)
Talking about my fringe boots, I'm pretty sad cos I threw it in the trash.. ):
It couldn't survive the wet and the continuous wearing in Japan.. And so it died.
And I only wore the boots once, the whole time I was in Japan.
Cos for the rest of the times it got worn, it was lent to either Marie, or my Aunt :)

Father and Son :)
Crossing the road to get to Ashiya train station.

Every Singaporean smokers' Christmas come early..

Most of the cigarettes cost 320yen.
I did a conversion for y'all, so 320yen makes an approximate SGD$4.83.
Shiok anot smokers?
Plus, since it's sold in vending machines, it means, no age restrictions at all!
All the underage smokers will have a frenzy there..
IF THEY CAN EVEN GET THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! AHAHAHAHAHA!
Not likely.. Even if they do, it'd most probably be with family, and I doubt that their parents would be too pleased with them if they got caught buying cigs..
Tsk!
No loss for me cos I don't smoke :)
Only thing was that I was seriously considering buying back to sell at a profit for the smoker people I know..
*AHEM*
Sorry, what was I thinking right? Hahahaha.

My emo-nemo cousin..

At the temple..

Look at the colourful trees in the background! I really love the vibrant colours! :DDD

The scenery was really mad fucking beautiful..

Michelle and Charles.

As I already said, mad beautiful. I totally cannot stop raving about the scenery!

There was a mini temple beside the big one..
Okay, apparently, the big temple was Buddhist, while the mini temple belonged to the original Japanese religion.
I googled it and apparently it's called Shintoism.
Cool eh?
So anyway, at the Shinto Temple, there was this thing called the Love Stone.

And here's the stone in question.

Another mini Shinto Ritual..

Wtf, a piece of paper costs 200yen?

I'm posing in front of some stone structure thingy?

Love my shoes :)
The sun was super bright, it was hard to keep my eyes open while standing (not posing) for a picture.

But I managed to get it done :D

Left the temple, and did a hell lot more walking..

Poor little cousin was so exhausted by it all.
K, that's it for now!
More another time!
Good night people, enjoy the remaining half and hour of New Year's Day 2010! :)
2:50 AM
It's a new beginning.
Okay, everyone has done wrap up posts for the year end long ago, and new year resolutions as well. But I haven't, so I guess it's my turn now.
Yes I'm kind of late, cos it's already 2010. But as I always say,
It's better late than never.
This will be a long wordy post, so if you cannot take long wordy posts, don't read.
I already warned you okay!
2009.
2009 has been one hell of a year for me.
The most significant change has to be entering a new school.
I still remember when I got the text informing me that I was enrolled into Singapore Polytechnic.
Half of me was so mad pissed with the result while the other half of me still couldn't believe that I didn't get into Ngee Ann instead.
This is due to my own overly confident ego and spoilt personality.
I almost always got whatever I wanted.
In Primary 4, I wanted to get into the EM1 stream, and I managed to get the top 3 award (within the class, but still warranted a prize presentation ceremony in front of the whole school :D).
This also meant that I got admitted into the EM1 class.
The punch line of this story? I NEVER STUDIED. I swear I just muddled through my whole year, got into quite a few tight spots cos of uncompleted homework, and I got TOP 3 in class.
Like, major wtf right?
But the most awful thing was that NO ONE believed that I got in through my grades. They INSISTED that I opted into the stream -.-
Aiya, whatever. It's over.
K, after that, was PSLE and secondary school posting.
My family wanted me to attend the affiliated school, St.Anthony's Canossian Secondary, but I was so Royally SICK of the bitchy girls in my school, I was super against it cos I know that 90% of the girls in my school would continue their education there.
I knew how bitchy girls in a confined area for an extended period of time could be, and I felt that I had to have OUT. So I opted for Anglican High for some male testosterone influence.
(Random: I SPELT TESTOSTERONE CORRECTLY ON THE FIRST TRY! Looks like this year's gonna be a good year :D)
Hee.
Okay, and plus I believed that Anglican High would provide me a much better education cos of it's relatively high cut off point.
So yes, against family objections and all, I MANAGED TO GET IN.
Yay me! :)
Okay, let's get back to 2009 and not go too far back down the memory lane.
ANYWAYS.
I was mad pissed that for the 1st time, I didn't get what I wanted for something so very important. But in the end, I had to let it go, and I registered to study at SP.
In SP, I made alot of new friends even before school started, thanks to Sports Camp.
Even though I now think Sports Club's system is pretty fucked up and there are many 2 faced back stabbers there, I definitely do not regret entering.
Before I went to camp, I panicked about the start of school cos none of my close friends got into SP.
I didn't even know of vague acquaintances who got into SP as well.
I panicked every single day since I got notified about my posting, all the way till the start of Sports Camp.
By the end of camp, I was so at home at SP, I wondered why I wanted to be in NP, running into people from Secondary school all the time (no close friends there either).
Starting school was awesome shitz cos I'd always be meeting up with the friends I made in Sports Camp and we'd always have fun just hanging out and doing whatever :)
And then there were guys.
Guys that weren't JUST FRIENDS.
Some confused me shitless, some had me wondering whether they had balls, and all deserved a tight slap across the face.
Around the middle of 2009, I had ALOT of boy drama.
Trust me, it's too complicated to explain. No one knows all the details except for me. Not even the boys involved.
Anyways, out of all the drama, I FINALLY got a proper boyfriend.
I know the way I said "FINALLY" makes me sound like I was SOOOOOO desperate to get a bf, but NO. It is NOT true okay!
I actually intended to stay single for the whole of the 1st year so that I could just mix around and mix friends. And I felt that single people have more fun. (Still think so.)
But things happened, I got swept away, I fell in love.
And I landed myself a partner.
Then, I spent the rest of the year TRYING to keep up with homework (something I've been doing the whole of my education) and not failing.
While juggling some r/s drama.
Something I'm still doing now cos, r/s drama is ALWAYS there. For me at least.
I have friends who don't seem to have such a thing with their bfs, and I tell you I'm mad envious.
But still, I wouldn't swap :)
Then, I got the opportunity to have the time of my life in Japan!
My first time properly going overseas!
First time sitting on a plane!
First time experiencing a different country for 2 weeks!
It was an awesome experience :)
Coming back, I spent most of my time catching up with the people I missed while I was away.
And so very quickly, the year was coming to an end.
I spent New Year's Eve at Sentosa with awesome company :)
However I somehow cleverly got my camera damaged with the sand at the beach. MAJOR WTF I SWEAR.
But I decided not to fret too much, and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon/evening running about and rolling around in the sand :)
Night time came and I spent it drinking a little with Dj.
Thank you dude for treating me to the drinks! :)
Although he probably wouldn't see this cos he thinks that blogs are for lonely people who have no one to listen to them so they blog and broadcast every tiny detail of their lives hoping that someone would care. LOL.
Jo came over and "stepped" into the New Year with me. Kind of.
She was using my comp, and I was being slightly hysterical on the phone cos I got a LITTLE bit high thanks to the drinks (but note; I was NOT drunk!).
And she wasn't too happy with me cos of that..
But I said sorry, bribed, pleaded and begged with her.
And she forgave me! :D
(Who could bear to stay mad at me for long anyways?)
Hee.
But this made me realise, that my r/s is affecting other areas of my life. And only because I allow it to.
But from now on, it's gonna STOP.
2010.
In 2010, I'm not gonna allow it to happen again.
As Renee so nicely put it,
I'M GONNA GROW SOME BACKBONE!
And that's my main new year's resolution for 2010!
Happy New Year everyone! :)

11:34 PM
I WANT TO COMPLAIN.
IT'S GONNA BE THE NEW YEAR SOON, AND EVERYONE HAS BEEN GOING FOR CLUBBING PARTIES AND ETC AND I'VE BEEN TO NONE.
I WANT TO DRINK MYSELF UNCONSCIOUS AND DANCE TILL MY LEGS BREAK.
But I cannot ):
Multitude of reasons for this, go guess on your own ):
NEVERMIND. I shall tell myself that all the clubbers will grow fat cos Alcohol has alot of calories unless it's wine. And who drinks wines in clubs? No one! I don't think they even serve wine there! Do they? I don't know..
And yes I will not grow fat cos I'll be holed up doing crunches from morning till night.
Or maybe not.
Rather, like today I called Jolynn over and we rented Night At The Museum 2 to watch, which is awesome by the way and everyone should watch it if you haven't.
I realise that my paragraphs are very disjointed and unlinked and I'm on a boredom high and what is that anyways?
I also get very annoyed that when I spell REALISE with a S like I just did, Mozilla automatically underlines it, telling me to spell it with a Z instead otherwise it will keep annoying me with the red underline cos it cannot understand that I WANT to spell it with an S and spelling it with an S is not wrong. It's just another way of spelling it.
I cannot remember which is the British and which is the American way and I also don't know whether Mozilla follows the British or American style which is annoying me TTM.
And I am also ranting cos I'm very bored and I've been bugged by slight cramps the whole day and I don't know how I'm going to survive going to Sentosa tml because I HAVE MY PERIOD and going to the beach with my period just sucks balls.
And I remember the last time I went to Sentosa and I think I had my period as well and it just majorly sucked.
Okay nevermind, guys won't understand. Only girls will.
K, only good news is that I'm editing my holiday pictures again and I like photoscape and I also like my photoediting skills and am I awesome much? :D
Okay, I shall stop confusing everyone with my confusing sentences now.
11:38 AM
Ice Skating!

My new phone.. Kind of?
It's actually my mum's. But I got it brand new and I'm using it now so it's kind of mine as well?
The thing is, my ancient Sony Ericsson started going nuts just awhile after I came back from Japan. And became so unuseable I had to switch it off immediately and never switch it on again.
So, conveniently, Mummy's Singtel contract could be renewed and she could get a discounted new phone.
So I whined and bargained and acted pitiful, and got Mummy to lend me the new phone instead of her current one!
Yay to me! :D
And recently I bought a cover for the phone cos my mum was telling me how much she wanted one, and I thought I'd buy it for her since I'd most probably be returning her the phone in February when my Starhub plan could be recontracted/cancelled.

This cover is really a good investment since I'm really a rough cookie with my belongings. And I also bought a screen protector for the phone so I no longer have to worry about the screen getting fingerprinty or scratched :D
Best thing is, I bought the cover for just 10 bucks, and the screen protector for just 8 bucks.
Mad love those Pasar Malam type stalls selling handphone accessories! :DD

Lunched at the renovated coffee shop before going IceSkating.

My favourite dishes :)

B loaned me gloves in my favourite colours :)

Horribly act cute face of mine..

*ahem*

4 pineapple tarts for snacking :)

I realised that Yeap was right. The Nihon Mura outlet at Kallang Leisure Park serves Fab food! :D

One of my favourite sushis :D

This is the BEST BEST BEST dish I've ever tasted in my life!
Mad orgasmic I swear!
It's made with prawns and potatoes and the most delish cream sauce with cheese and fish roe? I think. About the fish roe part. I don't know how to describe it. It's like, the bake it until the Roe kind of melts is it? I'm not to sure either..
But the point is.. MUST TRY!!!
I can't remember what it's called though.. It's like Ebi something with Potato and something sauce?
Okay, I'll try to remember the next time I go and have it.
It's probably packed with like, a thousand calories though =X
):

Even thought I tried to scrape up as much of the yummy sauce as possible, there was still enough sauce at the bottom of the hot plate to draw.
Tried out the new generation Bishi Bashi machine after dinner :)

It's mad fun but alot more difficult!!
Left for class christmas party at Daryl's place afterward. Photos are all on Fb cos I didn't take any with my Cam I think..
And that pretty much concludes my Marvelous Monday :)
Oh and I forgot to mention, I caught Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Day. It's a pretty good show! Should watch! :D

You put a smile on my face, with the things that you say :)
Welcoming to my family.. My new Son (stitch) and daughter (poohbear) ! :D

Don't look at me like that! I'm actually full of motherly instinct despite my childish demeanor... *ahem*
I'm a majorly happy girl! :D
Going out with Renee tml! I can't wait!! :D
Have to rest up now!
Night earthlings, be happy! :DDD
P.s B is the best skate partner and was super superbly good today!! Made me realise that he's the best antidote to my childish tantrums! :)

Christmas Eve.
Every year, I spend Christmas Eve having dinner with the family :)
Sometimes my family goes to Jo's place, but sometimes we celebrate Christmas Eve separately :)
This year, we had it separately.
Christmas Eve night is one of the rare nights I don't wish or even think of going out. I'm just happy to be at home.. Lounging around, playing with my siblings..
And most of all..
EATING!
I swear Mummy is like the BEST cook EVER.
I'm serious!!
And I'm not saying that just cos I'm her daughter cos alot of people do that.. They like their parents' cooking and find it nice cos they grew up with it. Whether it's really nice or not is a totally different issue lol.
But Mummy's cooking is really very good and I know cos I taste it all the time and ANYONE ELSE who has tasted my Mummy's cooking also agrees that it's mad awesome! :)
Before cooking dinner for us, Mummy was wrapping all her last minute purchases.

And she's really good at it too! Another talent that I never managed to inherit from her ):

Major cute mini Christmas tree on top of the shoe cupboard (:

Major orgasmicly yummy lamb rack being cooked in the oven :DD
When I got home at 5 plus from my own last minute shopping, the table was already laid and the chicken already baked!

Such a pleasing sight to behold for a hungry traveller :D
Chef in action!

Mushroom soup that Mummy made from SCRATCH. No artificial seasoning at all! And totally no help from Campbell's too! Very very tasty :D

And that's all for photos! Cos when the eating starts, the camera lays at one side, forgotten.
That's what happens most of the time where I'm concerned lol.
Oh yah, and dessert..

I-don't-know-what-brand icecream that's Vanilla flavoured with Almonds and ALOT nicer than I expected! :)
K, I'm off to bed now!
Claps for me cos I'm blogging so often with photos now :D
P.s I haven't forgotten about the Japan trip! Just procrastinating for the moment that's all! =X

Happy Boxing Day!
The day after Christmas, the one which most people forget about.
The story behind boxing day?

.
.
I DON'T KNOW!
Hahahaha. I totally sounded like I was about to do a post about Boxing Day right?
Nah, I have no idea what boxing day is about. I could Google or Wiki it I guess. But I'm not going to cos I'm far too sleepy to absorb new info.
Just that I already watermarked some photos from the camp, so I thought I'd blog.
That day, while getting my hair dyed by Yeap, I was set the task to search online for Steamboat places, preferably around Bugis, for dinnertime.

Precariously balancing her laptop on top of her washing machine..
While I sat in front of it with a newspaper bib.

Sweet girl preparing the hair dye for me (:

I didn't know they provided gloves in this manner. So cute!

And after that, I spent about 30 mins in pure torture.
Cos the hair dye made my scalp bloody itchy and I totally couldn't scratch.
It was such a royal pain and Yeap kept laughing at my non-stop like it was so hilarious! *glares*
But well, amidst all the laughter, she did alternatively pat and scratch my head to help relieve the itch..
So I forgive her. Teehee.
But I realised that it also helped a little to have the fan blowing at my head.
And here's a photo of my hair right after washing off and drying.

The only obvious difference is that my highlights have been darkened.
Totally cannot see the brown in the picture.
But really, in different lightings, the colour comes out a little. And with each day, the colour seems to get a bit more obvious to me :D

We created quite a mess while we dolled up. Heh.

While in Japan, I discovered that my camera has a few special effects..

After we were done dolling up, we actually wanted to leave Yeap's place to have lunch outside. But it was just about then when it started pouring heavily..
So we decided to have instant noodles instead! :D

I totally couldn't figure out the stove so I had to call for a little help..

The result?

Mad awesome and yummylicious noodles cooked by ME! :D

After eating and cleaning up the mess we made in her house, we finally trained down to town!
Yeap's bf met us at Wisma :)

And after everyone arrived, we went to Marina Square's HK cafe for dinner cos apparently Ho-ho and her bf (Stefan) were too full for steamboat.
And also cos everyone else threatened to make me eat at a Foodcourt if I kept insisting that I wanted steamboat ):

Ho-ho, my best from from Upper Secondary :D

And her Stefan who is worried that I'll call him Gay for swapping phones with Ho-ho so now he's stuck with her Pink and White LG handphone with bling on the back cover. Lol.

This is Yeap's I-don't-know-what-it's-supposed-to-be soggy mess. I don't know whether it's nice or not cos I didn't try it..

B's Cherry Float which I didn't really like cos it had sprite in it.
(Read : I don't like gassy drinks!)

My Mango Ice drink which was awesome cos it wasn't too sweet, and didn't get diluted quickly :)
Lastly,

Yummy Hargow :)
K, gonna hit the sack now. I'm super mad sleepy!
Night nights!
